WJ offers a number of services to landfill operators. WJ drilling services may be employed to install vertical and horizontal wells to control leachate and collect gas in landfill sites. WJ’s monitoring systems may be installed to track landfill performance in terms of gas production, leachate flow and settlement.
WJ enters into contracts with landfill operators to provide the long-term aftercare required by closed landfills.
WJ has also developed a numerical model that simulates the degradation of solid waste in landfills, and the effects of the transport of leachate and gas on the degradation and gas production processes.
