Inclinometer displacement versus depth over time

Inclinometer data: displacement v depth over time

Instrumentation and monitoring
////

Automated monitoring systems are used to read site instrumentation and to make the data available in an accessible format to relevant staff wherever they may be.

Instrumentation may include standpipe piezometers with transducers for groundwater level measurement, flowmeters, inclinometers, strain gauges, earth pressure cells, extensometers, weather stations and pump status sensors.

Dataloggers are used to read the instruments at whatever frequency is required; the information is transmitted via GSM modem for processing and presentation. The logger and modem can provide alarm alerts via text messaging direct to staff mobile phones. Data can be accessed in AGS, Excel or graphical format by e-mail, or via the web using software developed in partnership with Key Systems.
